So, today is the day! Our national excuse to stuff our faces and belly! Eye-wink I just woke up about 20 minutes ago to the wonderful aroma of my Mom cooking the ham and turkey. (yummy) This is one of my fave holidays because of the food and of course because of Black Friday. But, often times we forget about what this holiday really means. It's the time for us to reflect on what we are grateful and thankful for in our lives, to spend time with loved ones, and to cherish the early beginnings of this GREAT country.
So I will start, these are the things that I am extremely grateful for:
(not in any particular order)

1) GOD-without him nothing would be possible in my life.
2) My parents-I am very blessed to have them in my life. They have always supported me, always been there for me when I needed them, and they pay for my college tuition and car. Smiling
3) Our troops-They are either overseas or around our borders protecting our country. I am extremely indebted and grateful to all of them (we all are) for sacrificing their lives so that we could still live in freedom. This also extends out to one special Marine who is close to my heart: My boyfriend who is in Cali right now. Sad I miss him so much but I understand that he loves his job and this country more. That's what makes me fall in love with him even more. Kiss hehe
4) My Extended family (mom's side)-I am very close to them. And when my Mom came here to America to make a better life for her and for me they took care of me while I was a baby in the Phillippines unti she came back and got me. Sometimes they annoy me Sticking out tongue but in the end my life would NOT be the same without them.
5) My health-So far so good! All I have to worry about is my eczema and food allergies to wheat and flour. Compare that to the other health problems in this country...I am very blessed.
6) My boyfriend (again)-He is my lover, my best friend and my hero. Heart He makes my life better and most importantly he taught me how to believe in LOVE again. Love After 3 years he still makes me weak in the knees and I'm very grateful to have him in my life. faint
7) My 6 close girlfriends: My life without them wouldn't be the same. If I need to talk to someone at 3am they are always there for me. I can count on them to party with me, lend a shoulder to cry on, and go shopping with. We have been best friends for 14 years+ and I can't wait to grow old with them.
Cool My friends that I have made here on Teamsugar. (Lookbook & Conservative Sugar) All of you are always so kind and you guys help me pass the time when I'm at work or in class. Evil

There's much much more but I don't have enough time. Eye-wink

So I hope that everyone has a fantasic and full Thanksgiving. Be safe, enjoy your time with your family, and reflect on the fact that we are very blessed to be living in the USA and that there are alot of people who are less fortunate than us. Sad We are all blessed.

So Please come back and tell me what you are most thankful for whenever you get a chance. Even if you live in a different country and you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, I know that everyone is thankful for something. It's a holiday that can both be celebrated and appreciated around the world. Have a GREAT day. xoxo
