I can't remember who asked for my P.P. Recipe, but here it is...
Persimmon Pudding: (Aunt Frances recipe)
1 cup white sugar ½ cup brown sugar
1 ½ cup persimmon (1 tub) ¼ tsp baking soda
1 ½ cup sweet milk ¼ tsp salt
1 ½ cup flour 1 heaping tsp baking powder
2 eggs 5 tbl. Shortening (oleo)
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and persimmon. Then add sifted dry ingredients and milk. Bake 55 minutes at 325 degrees.

My mom had an Aunt Frances --- who also had lots of good recipes.
