Found this on another site, and I'd be going if I hadn't already voted!
In order to "applaud Americans who exercise their right to vote in the 2008 Presidential campaign", Krispy Kreme will be giving all voters a FREE doughnut on election day!
So, on Tuesday, November 4th, all participating Krispy Kreme stores will offer you one free star-shaped doughnut with red, white, and blue sprinkles!
In order to claim your free doughnut, you just need to show up with your "I Voted" sticker they hand out at the polls after voting.
A rep from Krispy Kreme said, "We can't guarantee that your candidate of preference will win on November 4, but we can guarantee that your right to voice your choice will be rewarded with a patriotic doughnut that will remind you just how tasty freedom really is. Krispy Kreme encourages everyone to take part in this historical election and vote."
So instead of thinking of this as a marketing ploy or a bribe (a vote in exchange for a doughnut), let's think of it as a nice, free thank you for doing the right thing.
Go VOTE on November 4th and make a difference!

Oooo I have my "I voted early" sticker.
1Yummy! There are no Krispy Kreme's within a resonable distance to my polling place, home and work so I don't think it is the cards, but a great idea.
2That's a fun idea! I'm sure you could go to the polls and just ask for the sticker. hehe

7Man, I already voted too! I don't think I have washed the shirt I wore yet. So I can go carefully rip the sticker off and use a magic marker to turn the "early" into a star or something! Give me a freakin' donut!!

i voted this past saturday my daughter who is 8 made the cutest statement she said "mom is that the the place where you vote for obama" and i said yes of course GO OBAMA GO
hate krispy Kremes maybe because my father in law owns a bakery, no the real reason they are to damn sweet
10I have to share this really funny quote from my 4 year old. We were eating dinner the other night, and we were talking about the election (he has watch all the debates with me and everything). So, he pipes up with "Mommy I want Barack Obama and Sarah Palin to win. Don't they make a nice couple?"

LMAO mykie it was too cute so i had to share, martii that is too cute, she was so excited because she got a sticker that read i voted and she tells the man "I'm not old enough to vote but if i could id vote for obama and they asked her why and she said because my mom always yells at the TV when the older man (mccain) talks , lol" so they are very observant, the obama supporters helping at the election poll cheered her on, i wish i had my camera that has the recording
