Many are arguing about the verbage being used with respect to the attack and deaths of those recently at one of our military bases here on American soil, perpetuated by an American on other Americans. While the act is unforgivable, some feel it is important to name it "terrorism" and connect the dots to perhaps others who may seek to cause harm.
I see this act as perhaps a result of a man who may have been mentally ill, afraid to go to the middle east himself, or perhaps was indeed acting as directed from a Muslim extremist.

I thought it might be nice to debate something outside the realm of politics.
I was reading an editorial today in the newspaper that said driving was a right not a privilege. I disagree, I think it is a privilege to drive.

Thinking Back to Hillary Clinton's Finger-Wagging at Circuit City
Today brings news that electronics retailer Circuit City will be liquidated.
Back in April of 2007, then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton objected to Circuit City's announcement of layoffs, sending the company a letter, accusing Circuit City's management as behaving "inconsistent with the fundamental compact between your company and its employees." At the time, I wrote:
From her words, you would think that Circuit City’s management woke up one morning, cackled and rubbed their hands together, and decided to fire a large swath of their employees in order to cover the costs of reupholstering their new Bentley.

WASHINGTON -The pardons President George W. Bush granted this week couldn't have been better Christmas gifts if Santa himself had delivered them.
But a Brooklyn, N.Y., man, Isaac Robert Toussie, received the legal equivalent of a lump of coal.

My wife and i are having an argument (sort of). I've got the Christmas lights up on the outside of the house, and I want to start having them on at night. Yes I know that I am a bit of a nut around Christmas, but this is by far my most favorite time of the year.
